Desert Bluffs is actually future/present Night Vale from an alternate universe where Carlos didn’t survive the attack of the tiny city. He died and Cecil went insane from grief. Due to the incredible suggestibility of Cecil’s voice, so did the rest of the town. Cecil of Night Vale hates Desert Buffs so much because he knows something’s not right (Carlos’ absence). He doesn’t know what’s not right, but he knows it’s wrong and that he doesn’t like it.

#self harm for TS #I was crying when he was telling this story #because he was trying to be funny and make light of it #but you could see in his eyes #even from the back row #how he KNEW how vulnerable he was making himself #and just #misha #you share things with us that most people don’t share with their closest friends #your life #your ups and downs #and you do it all with a smile #even when it hurts #especially when it hurts #and people wonder why I admire you so much #IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SCRUFF OR HANDS OR EYES #IT HAS TO DO WITH HEART

A little comic speculating on what a second sandstorm might be like.

The coloring style is a little rushed and simple, and I was getting rather tired by the end, alas. But mostly I just wanted to draw ecstatic, ripped-up Kevin.

hhhhhhh god I’ve loved watching this progress Miru! Chilling as all fuck too, love love love the coloring style you chose and how easy it is to rea this in their voices
